Alex has 5 years of experience in the FinTech space. He started his career in Business Development in the first FinTech that IPO-ed on SGX. His first venture was a localisation agency focused specifically on FinTechs. He spent several years consulting a range of startups, and found a love for the impact space. In 2021, he co-founded Connect Earth by combining his experience in FinTech with his passion for sustainability. 

After gaining his MEng in Mechanical Engineering, Josh joined Connect Earth as employee #2. With his problem-solving pedigree and strong analytical ability, he quickly took on additional responsibility in managing the data acquisition processes, as well as honing his Python and data science skills. Today, Josh is leading data strategy at Connect Earth, where he uses his multi-disciplinary skills to help create Connect Earth's data products. 

With over a decade of global experience at prestigious institutions like UBS, HSBC, Barracuda FX, and Solidatus, Clare-Louise brings a deep understanding of client needs and a proven track record of success. Her commitment to building trust and her tailored approach to sales set her apart, ensuring that each client's unique requirements are met with precision. Clare-Louise is not just passionate about sales but also about community. She actively volunteers with the Dog’s Trust foundation and supports initiatives promoting women in technology.

David Higginson studied as a Product Designer and gained experience as a designer and developer before progressing through Product Management leadership roles at Unibuddy. At Connect Earth, he tackles our product vision and strategy with experience, energy and enthusiasm. Day-to-day, he solves problems for customers by unlocking the right solutions, processes and skills to target and scale our offerings.

Alicia is an engineer with over 6 years of experience in software development.
After finishing her studies at Politécnica de Madrid, she worked for a startup in the renewable energy sector, developing an application to monitor wind farms and analyse the performance of wind turbines.

Her passion for technology and sustainability led her to join Connect Earth to embrace new challenges. As the Tech Lead, Alicia now leads the engineering team, driving the development of innovative and scalable software solutions.

Will has nearly a decade of experience in the technology industry, working across a range of sectors from football to fraud. For 6 years, he has focused on enterprise sales, selling to large corporations and Tier 1/2 banks to help startups thrive. Most recently Will has contributed to the success of Ravelin and PassFort. Today, Will is a Solutions Engineer at Connect Earth.

For the past decade, Oliver has been helping SaaS-based Seed and Series A-funded businesses scale their commercial operations to predictable revenue via expert qualification and sales processes. Previously, Oli helped companies like PassFort (now a Moody’s Analytics company) scale from inception to exit. The huge rise in demand for sustainability-related products has led him to make the decision to go ‘all-in’ on helping financial institutions execute more effectively when it comes to sustainability initiatives.

Emma has 17 years of experience in finance. She started her career in the public sector and worked her way up from accounts payable to financial accountant. Then, she became a finance manager for a school trust, to later on move to do cost accounting in the food industry. Later on, she developed the finance team and processes as a financial controller at a transportation company. Today, Emma manages the finance function of the company.

Yentl gained his MSc degree in Environmental Sciences and pursued a minor in object-oriented programming. During the work on his Master thesis, he specialised in environmentally-extended input-output analysis using Python, bringing together both his interests in sustainability and coding. Today, Yentl works on iteratively improving the accuracy and coverage of Connect Earth’s carbon emission modelling.

Carlos has over 5 years of experience in software development. After finishing his studies at Politécnica de Madrid, he worked at different tech companies, where he gained experience in different fields. With his passion for tech and sustainability, Carlos joined Connect Earth with the intention of building innovative solutions that can help reduce carbon emissions globally.

Will gained his Master’s degree in Climate Studies, where he explored the negative externalities of our society on the Planet and potential adaptation and mitigation strategies to incorporate in the face of climate change. With his knowledge of policy and deep understanding of climate change, he joined Connect Earth where he focuses on developing the company’s core database, Connect Hub. 

Maddy put her degree in English and Classical Studies from the University of St Andrews to good use by becoming a copywriter and, then, professional digital marketer, working with B Corps and other purposeful organisations. Over the last several years she has developed her skills in brand positioning, marketing strategies, content creation, process innovation and building a high-performance team. She has authored a book about marketing best practices and brand differentiation. The pen is indeed mightier than the sword, if the pen is very sharp.

Ian has joined our team as NLP/LLM Data Science Lead. Ian brings a wealth of experience to the team, with an impressive skill set homed through diverse roles at companies spanning telecommunications to behavioural science, each experience has shaped Ian into the multifaceted data scientist he is today.

Sagal is a sales professional with experience spanning strategic business development, B2B and B2C sales and account management. Before joining Connect Earth, Sagal was an SDR at GoCardless, a leading fintech. With her experience across business development and her keen interest in sustainability, Sagal is looking to help scale Connect Earth.

Sindi is one of our Sales Development Representatives making up part of the #Revenue-Crew here at Connect Earth! Sindi recently graduated in Business Management with Digital Business - we are so pleased to be able to support her talents and have her bring those hot-off-the-press learnings into the business. Her stellar track record, quick-thinking and determination are all assets that will make a huge difference as we enter into a new phase of ambitious growth. 

Ali Kemal Yıldırım is part of Connect Earth as a Full Stack Engineer.

In between his job as a full-time cat dad, Ali has managed to gain impressive experience working as a Lead Software Developer at companies like Sensgreen, where he developed new functionalities for green building management and monitoring.

He has now brought his passion for sustainable futures and his engineering expertise to Connect Earth. His role will involve creating secure and low-error code to enhance the reliability and security of our products, staying up-to-the-minute on the latest trends. 

Andrea is based in Bogotá, Colombia. She leads the charge in the LATAM region, bringing more than 12 years of professional experience in a range of roles both in banking and SaaS. In her role as LATAM Lead at Connect Earth, she builds strong relationships, drives the sales strategy for the region and joins us on our mission to deliver a more sustainable future for all. When she’s not closing deals, she can be found doing yoga or playing one of her 25 musical instruments.
